Recent Community Updates
Newsletters are mailed and posted on the web site regularly. If you have news to report, contact the Civic Association Secretary and provide details to be considered for future newsletters.
Calling All Volunteers…
Our volunteers contribute many hours to maintaining the community property ( beach, basin area, boat ramp, dock and equipment etc. ). The responsibilities of each committee are:
- Activities – Prepares calendar of events, organizes and implements the events for the community.
- Audit – Provides annual audit of Treasurer’s books to insure proper accounting procedures are followed and reported.
- Beach/Adopt a Road – Organizes yearly beach and road clean up in the spring to ensure safety and cleanliness of community.
- By Laws – Reviews and updates By Laws as needed.
- Directory – Assembles new contact information for all residents of WVS and engages local businesses to advertise.
- Capital Improvement – Evaluates and proposes plan for on-going maintenance of community assets (roads, beach, dock, buildings and equipment.
- Common Area Maintenance – Cuts and maintains community property and beaches.
- Welcome/Sunshine – Welcomes new neighbors and provides information on WVS. Identifies needs of our neighbors who are ill or are in need of support.

Calling all volunteers….your help in needed to plan the summer/fall activities and to establish plans for the beach clean up in early May. More details will be posted in early May.

On January 15, 2012 the Civic Associated launched its new web site. The purpose is to provide regular updates to the following :
