Get your bathing suits, wet suits, etc. ready for the 2nd Annual WVS – Polar Plunge! Last year’s event was a huge success with over 20+ plungers and countless spectators from WVS.

Historically, Polar Plunges across the country have supported Special Olympics and local charities. This year, we’ve chosen to support a local charity here in Earleville—Deep Roots at Clairvaux Farm.

We would appreciate a purely voluntary donation of $20 per plunger. A donation box will be located at the beach on the day of the event. You can provide a check made out to WVSC or, if paying in cash, please enclose it in an envelope with your name so we can acknowledge all contributors in our event follow-up.

The event is open to WVS residents and their family and friends. We will once again have a beach bonfire and support from our Cecilton VFD on hand. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible to join in on the activities, or simply cheer on our brave plungers!
