It’s New Year… so, get your bathing suit, wetsuit, costume, and cold-weather courage ready for the 3rd Annual WVS Polar Plunge! Participation continues to grow each year, with more plungers and beachside spectators joining in on the fun.

In addition to our usual bonfire gathering, we will have a tent and table setup and invite you to bring along a warm crock of your favorite soup, stew, hot chocolate, etc. to share.

This is a fun community tradition.  This year, all donations raised through the Polar Plunge will be allocated toward the purchase of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for our beach area. This investment is a meaningful step forward in strengthening safety, preparedness, and peace of mind for our residents and their guests.

The event is open to WVS residents and their family and friends. As in years past we are grateful to have support on-site from the Cecilton Volunteer Fire Department.

If you prefer not to plunge but would still like to contribute, donations of any amount are warmly welcomed in support of this year’s fund-raising cause.
